"The Pull Out Method" by Lucky Stevens was one wild excellent read. This author is a very interesting storyteller in that each chapter will have you only wanting more. There was a lots of fast action that only keeps the reader in suspense....that I even found myself holding my breath and with a ending that will only have you saying .... I didn't see that coming! This was some bank robbery and leaving you to think...Was this poor hero was in the 'wrong place at the wrong time?

You will find so many twist and turns and with these characters who were all simply off the chart ....good....all being so well developed ...from Reggie, Grandma, Lulu, Travor, Mr. Gonzalez, George Sullivan, Wes, Bobby, Duke, Jerry White, Mike Story, Natalie, Chad Grey, Darin Kelley, Joseph Bleeker to Ralph and I am sure I have left someone else out....so you will just have to pick up this good read "The Pull Out Method" to see who that may be....along with what was up with the saying..."just making lemonade, baby. Just making lemonade." Also from this read you will get all of the why, what, who and how of it all in this well written read that you will not be able to put down until the end. This definitely was a page turner!

If you are looking for a crime novel with much suspense then I would recommend "The Pull Out Method" to you as a excellent read.

This book is a page turner. That's a must for me. But it's a lot more. There are changes of point of view, surprises both terrible and wonderful and real reasons to read on. I'm not into spoilers, even with a warning, so I'll just say "The Pull Out Method" is about a bank robbery from the inside out, the outside in and with a few secret passages, besides. And all the suspense you can stand. Read it!
It's not often you can get hooked immediately in the storyline and characters of a book. When I first began to read The Pull Out Method, I had the feeling I was reading a Harlan Coben book. Reggie, the main character, found himself in the "wrong place at the wrong time" and within hours his life took so many twists and turns, you would have thought he was on a fast-moving roller coaster. I enjoyed the sparks of wit and humor that would fly out without warning, and I especially enjoyed his grandmother's character and the role she played throughout the book. The story keeps you reading to see what happens next. Good read.
Talk about a page-turner! Every time I thought I knew where this story was going, it took a major left-hand turn. I love books and movies with twists and turns and endings that defy one's predictions. 'The Pull-Out Method' is such a work. I'd love to see them turn Lucky Stevens' book into a movie; it'd make an outstanding crime drama Alfred Hitchcock-style. Highly recommended.
I enjoyed this book from the first page to the last. I wouldn't have thought I would enjoy a book about a robbery, but it came highly recommended by a friend of mine, and I was amazed at how much I loved this book. The author's portrayal of humor and suspense is incredible.
Lucky Stevens has written a real page-turner. Highly visual, this novel seems destined to become a screenplay in the not-too-distant future. The characters are fleshed-out well, with clear-cut motivations and intriguing backstories. The plot has an unusual structure (somewhat reminiscent of "Pulp Fiction"'s), weaving back and forth, never letting you guess where it's going next. More than one point-of-view is incorporated, again keeping the reader on his toes. This being a crime novel, there is, of course, ample violence, but the author keeps the gore well within reason, and it's never gratuitous. Bravo, Lucky! I look forward to reading your future works.
After reading all the reviews about what a page turner this was, I thought I would give it a try. Unfortunately, it went in entirely way too long. I skipped over parts of it. Do not believe all the other reviews.
A well-written suspense book with more twists and turns than I've ever read in another book before. Two guys have planned to rob this bank for almost a year. Everything is going according to plan until they realize there is someone else in the bank, and in particular, in the ceiling fixing the AC. This book also has some humor in it. One minute the robbers are robbers, next minute they are hostages. This 'taking over' happens a couple of times. The ending was a huge surprise, I never saw that coming. All in all, a good read. I found that when the author was going back to where the robbers met, it was kinda boring and I flipped a few pages. Good read, captivating and enjoyable.
